Two People Seriously Injured In Crash At Busy Long Island Intersection

Two people suffered serious injuries in a crash at a busy Long Island intersection

According to Suffolk County Police, a 57-year-old man from North Babylon attempted to turn left onto Prairie Drive while driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox on Deer Park Avenue northbound at around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 1st.

The Chevrolet collided with a 2020 Audi A4 that was traveling southbound on Deer Park Avenue and was being driven by a 20-year-old Deer Park man.

The two drivers and a 61-year-old North Babylon woman who was a passenger in the Chevrolet were all transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. 

The occupants of the Equinox were treated for serious injuries. The driver of the Audi was treated for minor injuries.
